If a man accepts money from another to perform Hajj on their behalf and then dies without leaving anything behind, the ruling depends on whether the hired person had performed the Hajj: If the hired person had already performed the Hajj, the reward of their Hajj is transferred to the person who provided the money. If the hired person had not performed the Hajj, the reward of the Hajj is written for the person who provided the money.
