Back to book

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated the following: “Muhammad ibn al-Hassan once wrote to abu Muhammad, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of a man who dies and appoints two people as executors of his will, if it is permissible for one of them to deal with one-half of the legacy and the other with the other half of the legacy. He (the Imam) signed the answer that said, ‘It is not suitable for them to oppose the deceased. They must work as they are instructed, by the will of Allah.’”
