عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ الْعَقِيقُ يَنْفِي الْفَقْرَ وَ لُبْسُ الْعَقِيقِ يَنْفِي النِّفَاقَ .
1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr who has said the following: “Al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, ‘Carnelian disallows poverty and wearing carnelian dispels hypocrisy.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ مَنْ سَاهَمَ بِالْعَقِيقِ كَانَ سَهْمُهُ الْأَوْفَرَ .
2. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’, has said, ‘One who achieves a share of carnelian his share is a plentiful share.’”
عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ التَّنُوكِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) تَخَتَّمُوا بِالْعَقِيقِ فَإِنَّهُ مُبَارَكٌ وَ مَنْ تَخَتَّمَ بِالْعَقِيقِ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يُقْضَى لَهُ بِالْحُسْنَى .
3. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Muhammad ibn Ali from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam al-Tanukiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘Wear a ring of carnelian; it is blessed and one who uses a ring of carnelian has a good chance to end up in goodness.’”
عَنْهُ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ رَبِيعَةِ الرَّأْيِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ فِي يَدِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) فَصَّ عَقِيقٍ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذَا الْفَصُّ فَقَالَ عَقِيقٌ رُومِيٌّ وَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مَنْ تَخَتَّمَ بِالْعَقِيقِ قُضِيَتْ حَوَائِجُهُ .
4. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from certain persons of his people from Salih ibn ‘Uqbah from Fudayl ibn ‘Uthman from Rabi‘ah al-Ra’iy who has said the following: “Once on the hand of abu al-Hassan (a.s.), I saw carnelian as the stone of the ring, and asked, ‘What is this stone?’ He (the Imam) replied, ‘It is a Roman carnelian. The Messenger of Allah has said, “If one uses carnelian as his ring his wishes come true.’””
عَنْهُ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الْعَقِيقُ أَمَانٌ فِي السَّفَرِ .
5. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from certain persons of his people in a marfu‘ manner has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Agate is safety on a journey.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ خَاتَماً فَصُّهُ عَقِيقٌ لَمْ يَفْتَقِرْ وَ لَمْ يُقْضَ لَهُ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ .
6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ali ibn Ma’bad from al-Husayn ibn Khalid who has said the following: “Al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said that abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), would say, ‘One who uses ‘Aqiq (carnelian) as the stone of his ring does not become poor and he ends up only in goodness.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ سَيَابَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْقَصِيرِ قَالَ بَعَثَ الْوَالِي إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ آلِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فِي جِنَايَةٍ فَمَرَّ بِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَقَالَ أَتْبِعُوهُ بِخَاتَمِ عَقِيقٍ فَأُتِيَ بِخَاتَمِ عَقِيقٍ فَلَمْ يَرَ مَكْرُوهاً .
7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ya‘qub ibn Yazid from Ibrahim ibn ‘Uqbah from Sayabah ibn Ayyub from Muhammad ibn al-Fadl from ‘Abd al-Rahim al-Qasir who has said the following: “Once, the governor summoned a man of Ale abu Talib in a criminal case, and he passed by abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), who said, ‘Follow him with a ring of ‘Aqiq (carnelian)’. ‘Aqiq (carnelian) ring was brought and he did not experience any undesirable matters.’”
عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ شَكَا رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) أَنَّهُ قُطِعَ عَلَيْهِ الطَّرِيقُ فَقَالَ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) هَلَّا تَخَتَّمْتَ بِالْعَقِيقِ فَإِنَّهُ يَحْرُسُ مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ .
8. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Muhammad ibn Ahmad in a marfu‘ manner has said the following: “He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said that once a man complained before the Messenger of Allah, O Allah grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to your cause, that on the road he was robbed. The Messenger of Allah said, ‘Why did you not wear the ring of ‘Aqiq (carnelian) which is protects from every evil matters?’”
