Al-Mash (Peeled Black beans)

Ḥadīth 1

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْجَلَّابِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا قَالَ شَكَا رَجُلٌ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) الْبَهَقَ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَطْبُخَ الْمَاشَ وَ يَتَحَسَّاهُ وَ يَجْعَلَهُ فِي طَعَامِهِ .

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Musa from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Jallab certain persons of our people who have said the following: “Once a man complained before abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about vitiligo (white spots on one’s skin) and he (the Imam) commanded him to cook al-Mash then drink it and make it a part of his food.”
