2 Aḥadīth

Ḥadīth #1

:1285

1- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَفَعَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (a.s) قَالَ الْمَرْأَةُ الْجَمِيلَةُ تَقْطَعُ الْبَلْغَمَ وَالْمَرْأَةُ السَّوْءَاءُ تُهَيِّجُ الْمِرَّةَ السَّوْدَاءَ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn abu al-Qasim from his father in a marfu’ manner who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s), has said, ‘A good looking woman cuts down phlegm and an ugly looking woman excites black bile.’”

2- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ السَّيَّارِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (a.s) أَنَّهُ شَكَا إِلَيْهِ الْبَلْغَمَ فَقَالَ أَمَا لَكَ جَارِيَةٌ تُضْحِكُكَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لا قَالَ فَاتَّخِذْهَا فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يَقْطَعُ الْبَلْغَمَ.

2. Al-Husayn from Muhammad from al-Sayyariy from Ali ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid from certain persons of his people who has said the following: “He (the narrator) once complained before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s), against phlegm and he (the Imam) asked, ‘Do you not have a slave-girl who can make you laugh?’ I (the narrator) said, ‘No, I do not have one.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Find one; she will cut down phlegm.’”
