1- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ وَأَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَوِ التَّابِعِينَ غَيْرِ أُولِي الإرْبَةِ مِنَ الرِّجالِ إِلَى آخِرِ الآيَةِ قَالَ الأحْمَقُ الَّذِي لا يَأْتِي النِّسَاءَ.
1. Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from and Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from ibn Muskan from Zurarah who has said the following: “I once asked abu Ja’far, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the words of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, . . the dependents who are not of the condition of sensing carnal desires among men. . . (24:31) He (the Imam) said, ‘ It is a reference to those who because of dimwittedness do not go near women.”’
2- حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ أُولِي الإرْبَةِ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ قَالَ الأحْمَقُ الْمُوَلَّى عَلَيْهِ الَّذِي لا يَأْتِي النِّسَاءَ.
2. Humayd ibn Ziyad from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad from more than one person from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn abu ‘Abd Allah who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of those among men who do not have the sense of carnal desires. He (the Imam) said, ‘They are the dimwitted ones who are owned and do not go near women.’”
3- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ جَمِيعاً عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الأشْعَرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الْقَدَّاحِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ (عَلَيْهِم السَّلام) قَالَ كَانَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلانِ يُسَمَّى أَحَدُهُمَا هِيتَ وَالآخَرُ مَانِعٌ فَقَالا لِرَجُلٍ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) يَسْمَعُ إِذَا افْتَتَحْتُمُ الطَّائِفَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ فَعَلَيْكَ بِابْنَةِ غَيْلانَ الثَّقَفِيَّةِ فَإِنَّهَا شُمُوعٌ بَخْلاءُ مُبَتَّلَةٌ هَيْفَاءُ شَنْبَاءُ إِذَإ؛ جَلَسَتْ تَثَنَّتْ وَإِذَا تَكَلَّمَتْ غَنَّتْ تُقْبِلُ بِأَرْبَعٍ وَتُدْبِرُ بِثَمَانٍ بَيْنَ رِجْلَيْهَا مِثْلُ الْقَدَحِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) لا أُرِيكُمَا مِنْ أُولِي الإرْبَةِ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ فَأَمَرَ بِهِمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) فَغُرِّبَ بِهِمَا إِلَى مَكَانٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ الْعَرَايَا وَكَانَا يَتَسَوَّقَانِ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ.
3. Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla’ ibn Muhammad and Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father all from Ja’far ibn Muhammad al-Ash’ariy from ‘Abd Allah ibn Maymun al-Qaddah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has narrated from his ancestors that there were two men in al- Madinah, one was called Hayt and the other was called Mani‘. They spoke to a man when the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, was hearing, ‘When you enter Taef, by the will of Allah, do not miss daughter of Ghaylan al-Thaqafiy because she is a candle for the stingy, completely beautiful, slim and sweet. When she sits she places one part on the other, and when she speaks she sings. She comes forward with four (hands and legs) and goes back with eight (hands, legs, shoulder bones and hips), between her legs there is something like a bowl.’ The Holy Prophet, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, said, ‘I do not think you are of those who do not have a sense of feeling carnal desires.’ The Messenger of Allah commanded to send them in exile to a place called al-‘Araya’. They would procrastinate every Friday (in attending prayer).”’
