2. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from ‘Isma’il ibn Mehran from Zakariya’ ibn Adam from abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ , who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ , has said, ‘One who works to find sustenance of the extra- generosity of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, to provide for his family is granted a reward greater than a Mujahid (fighter) for the cause of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious.’”

3. Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Rib’iy ibn ‘Abd Allah from Fudayl ibn Yasar who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘If one has difficulty in providing for his family and works to meet his own needs and the needs of his family and does not work for unlawful kind of sustenance, he is like a Mujahid (fighter) for the cause of Allah.”
