اَلْعَيَّاشِيُّ عَنْ حَمْدَوَيْهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ اَلْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلرَّجُلِ يَأْخُذُهُ اَلْمُشْرِكُونَ فَتَحْضُرُهُ اَلصَّلاَةُ فَيَخَافُ مِنْهُمْ أَنْ يَمْنَعُوهُ فَيُومِئُ إِيمَاءً قَالَ« يُومِئُ إِيمَاءً»
Al-‘Ayyashi, from Hamdawayh, from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn, from Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub, from Sama‘ah, who said: I asked Abu Abdillah (a.s), peace be upon him, about a man who is captured by the polytheists and the time for prayer comes upon him, but he fears that they will prevent him, so he gestures with signs (yumiʾu ima’an) in prayer. Imam (a.s) said: "He should gesture with signs (yumiʾu ima’an) in prayer."
