The Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) said: "The burden of proof is upon the claimant, and the oath is upon the one who denies the claim. Reconciliation is permissible among Muslims, except for a reconciliation that makes something unlawful (to be) lawful, or makes something lawful (to be) unlawful."
