Ḥadīth 579

٤٥٧. وَقَالَ (عليه ‏السلام): مَنْهُومَانِ لَا يَشْبَعَانِ: طَالِبُ عِلْمٍ، وَطَالِبُ دُنْيَا.

457. Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, said: Two greedy persons never get satiated, the seeker of knowledge and the seeker of this world.
