Misers' niggardly disputes over worthless possessions

Ḥadīth 241

١٩٥. وَقَالَ (عليه ‏السلام) وَقَدْ مَرَّ بِقَذَرٍ عَلَى مَزْبَلَةٍ: هَذَا مَا بَخِلَ بِهِ الْبَاخِلُونَ.

195. Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, passed beside a dump of rubbish full of filth and remarked: This is what the misers used to be niggardly about.

Ḥadīth 242

وَرُوِيَ فِي خَبَرٍ آخَرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: هَذَا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَتَنَافَسُونَ فِيهِ بِالْأَمْسِ!

In another tradition it is related that he said: This is what you used to dispute with each other about until yesterday!
