1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ عَنْ مُرَازِمٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الْمَرِيضِ لاَ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ قَالَ فَقَالَ كُلُّ مَا غَلَبَ الله عَلَيْهِ فَالله أَوْلَى بِالْعُذْرِ.
1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn Hadid from Murazim who has said the following: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of one who is ill and is not able to perform Salah (prayer). He (the Imam) said, ‘One whom Allah has over powered, then Allah is the first to pardon.”’
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الْمَرِيضِ يَقْضِي الصَّلاَةَ إِذَا أُغْمِيَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لاَ.
2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hajjal from Tha’labah ibn Maymun from Ma‘mar ibn ‘Umar who has said the following: “I once asked abu Ja‘far, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about one suffering from illness if one is required to perform one’s Salah (prayer) again which is missed during the time of fainting condition. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, one is not required to perform such Salah (prayer) again.’”
3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَزَّازِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ أُغْمِيَ عَلَيْهِ أَيَّاماً لَمْ يُصَلِّ ثُمَّ أَفَاقَ أَ يُصَلِّي مَا فَاتَهُ قَالَ لاَ شَيْءَ عَلَيْهِ.
3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from Ibrahim al-Khazzaz abu Ayyub who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about a man who remains fainted for several days, unable to perform any Salah (prayer), who then gains consciousness; if he is required, what is missed, to perform his Salah (prayer) again. He (the Imam) said, ‘He is not obligated to perform it again.’”
4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيْهِما الْسَّلام) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمَرِيضِ يُغْمَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُفِيقُ كَيْفَ يَقْضِي صَلاَتَهُ قَالَ يَقْضِي الصَّلاَةَ الَّتِي أَدْرَكَ وَقْتَهَا.
4. Ali ibn Muhammad and Muhammad ibn al-Hassan has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub from ibn Ri’ab from abu Basir who has said the following: “I once asked one of the two Imam, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, about a patient who faints and then gains consciousness, if he is required to perform his Salah (prayer) again. He (the Imam) said, ‘He is required to perform only those Salah (prayer) again for which there was still time after his gaining consciousness.’”
5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مَرِضَ فَتَرَكَ النَّافِلَةَ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ لَيْسَتْ بِفَرِيضَةٍ إِنْ قَضَاهَا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ يَفْعَلُهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ فَلاَ شَيْءَ عَلَيْهِ.
5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad, from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I once said to him (the Imam), ‘Alayhi al-Salam, ‘There is a man who has become ill and has omitted optional Salah (prayer).’ He (the Imam) said, ‘O Muhammad, it is not obligatory Salah (prayer). If he performs, it is a good deed that he does. If he did not do, he is not required to perform it.’”
6ـ جَمَاعَةٌ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ الْعِيصِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنْ رَجُلٍ اجْتَمَعَ عَلَيْهِ صَلاَةُ السَّنَةِ مِنْ مَرَضٍ قَالَ لاَ يَقْضِي.
6. A group has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Safwan from al-‘Is ibn al-Qasim who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about a man upon whom Salah (prayer) for one year has accumulated because of illness. He (the Imam) said, ‘He is not required to perform such Salah (prayer).”’
7ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ فِي الْمُغْمَى عَلَيْهِ قَالَ مَا غَلَبَ الله عَلَيْهِ فَالله أَوْلَى بِالْعُذْرِ.
7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from and Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan all from ibn abu ‘Umayr from Hafs ibn al-Bakhtariy who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, say about one fainted because of illness, ‘Whomever Allah overpowers, Allah is the first to pardon.’”
