1 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَ جَمَاعَةُ مَشَايِخِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى وَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ وَ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِدْرِيسَ جَمِيعاً عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ النَّهَاوَنْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ ثُوَيْرِ بْنِ أَبِي فَاخِتَةَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) يَا حُسَيْنُ مَنْ خَرَجَ مِنْ مَنْزِلِهِ يُرِيدُ زِيَارَةَ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ (ص) إِنْ كَانَ مَاشِياً كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ حَسَنَةً وَ مَحَى عَنْهُ سَيِّئَةً حَتَّى إِذَا صَارَ فِي الْحَائِرِ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِينَ الْمُنْتَجَبِينَ [الْمُفْلِحينَ الْمُنْجِحِينَ حَتَّى إِذَا قَضَى مَنَاسِكَهُ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْفَائِزِينَ حَتَّى إِذَا أَرَادَ الِانْصِرَافَ أَتَاهُ مَلَكٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ (ص) يُقْرِؤُكَ السَّلَامَ وَ يَقُولُ لَكَ اسْتَأْنِفِ الْعَمَلَ فَقَدْ غُفِرَ لَكَ مَا مَضَى

1. My father and all of my scholars narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, Muĥammad ibn Yaĥyā, ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ĥimyari, and Aĥmad ibn Idrǐs, from Ĥusain ibn ‘Ubaydillāh, from Ĥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Abǐ ‘Uthmān, from ‘Abdil Jabbār Al-Nahāwandi, from Abǐ Sa’ǐd, from Ĥusain ibn Thuwayr ibn Abǐ Fākhitah, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said to me: O Ĥusain! Allāh will register one good deed for those who leave their houses to go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ĥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) on foot and erase one bad deed from them with every step they take. When they arrive at the Ĥā`ir, Allāh will register them as those who have achieved salvation and as the successful ones. After they complete the rituals (of the Ziyārah), Allāh will register them as the winners. When they decide to return, an angel will come to them and say, “Verily the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) sends his Salām to you and tells you that all of your previous sins have been forgiven. Therefore, continue with good deeds.”

2 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ بَشِيرٍ الدَّهَّانِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَخْرُجُ إِلَى قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَلَهُ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ بِأَوَّلِ خُطْوَةٍ مَغْفِرَةُ ذُنُوبِهِ- ثُمَّ لَمْ يَزَلْ يُقَدَّسُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُ فَإِذَا أَتَاهُ نَاجَاهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى فَقَالَ عَبْدِي سَلْنِي أُعْطِكَ ادْعُنِي أُجِبْكَ اطْلُبْ مِنِّي أُعْطِكَ سَلْنِي حَاجَةً أقضيها [أَقْضِهَا لَكَ قَالَ وَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) وَ حَقٌّ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُعْطِيَ مَا بَذَلَ

2. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, and from Muĥammad ibn Yaĥyā, from Muĥammad ibn Ĥusain, from Muĥammad ibn Ismā’ǐl, from Šāliĥ ibn ‘Uqbah, from Bashǐr Al-Dahhān, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said: Verily when a man leaves his family to go to the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.), with the first step that he takes, all of his sins will be forgiven. Then as he travels (toward Ĥusain (a.s.)), he will become more and more purified. Once he arrives (at the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.)), Allāh will speak to him confidentially and say, “O My slave! Ask Me (for anything) and I will grant it. Call Me, for I will answer you. Desire anything and I will fulfill it, and ask Me for any of your needs so that I may grant it.” Abū ‘Abdillāh (a.s.) added, “And he deserves to be recompensed by Allāh for that which he has spent (in coming to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.)).”

3 وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ صَالِحٍ عَنِ الْحَرْثِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَلَائِكَةً مُوَكَّلِينَ بِقَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَإِذَا هَمَّ بِزِيَارَتِهِ الرَّجُلُ أَعْطَاهُمُ اللَّهُ ذُنُوبَهُ فَإِذَا خَطَا مَحَوْهَا ثُمَّ إِذَا خَطَا ضَاعَفُوا لَهُ حَسَنَاتِهِ فَمَا تَزَالُ حَسَنَاتُهُ تَضَاعَفُ حَتَّى تُوجِبَ لَهُ الْجَنَّةَ ثُمَّ اكْتَنَفُوهُ وَ قَدَّسُوهُ وَ يُنَادُونَ مَلَائِكَةَ السَّمَاءِ أَنْ قَدِّسُوا زُوَّارَ حَبِيبِ اللَّهِ فَإِذَا اغْتَسَلُوا نَادَاهُمْ مُحَمَّدٌ (ص) يَا وَفْدَ اللَّهِ أَبْشِرُوا بِمُرَافَقَتِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ ثُمَّ نَادَاهُمْ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَع أَنَا ضَامِنٌ لِقَضَاءِ حَوَائِجِكُمْ وَ دَفْعِ الْبَلَاءِ عَنْكُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ ثُمَّ الْتَقَاهُمْ [اكْتَنَفَهُمُ] النَّبِيُّ (ص) عَنْ أَيْمَانِهِمْ وَ عَنْ شَمَائِلِهِمْ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفُوا إِلَى أَهَالِيهِمْ

3. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, and from Muĥammad ibn Yaĥyā, from Muĥammad ibn Ĥusain, from Muĥammad ibn Ismā’ǐl, from Šāliĥ ibn ‘Uqbah, from Ĥarath ibn Mughǐrah, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said: Allāh has some angels who are dedicated to the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.). When someone decides to go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.), Allāh will give his sins to these angels. With the (first) step that he takes, the angels will erase his sins, and with any additional steps that he may take, the angels will multiply his good deeds, and his good deeds will keep increasing until he deserves (to enter) Paradise. Then the dedicated angels will surround him and sanctify him. They will call out to the angels of the heavens, “Sanctify the Zuwwār of the love of the love of Allāh (the Prophet (s.a.a.w.)).” After the Zuwwār perform Ghusl, Muĥammad (s.a.a.w.) will call out to them, “O guests of Allāh! Be delighted for you will join me in Paradise.” Then the Commander of the Believers (a.s.) will call out to them, “I guarantee the fulfillment of your requests and to keep the afflictions away from you in this life and in the Hereafter.” Then the Prophet (s.a.a.w.) will join them and stay to their right and left side until they return to their families.

4 وَ حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُوسَى بْنِ بَابَوَيْهِ وَ جَمَاعَةٌ رَحِمَهُمُ اللَّهُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ الْمَكْفُوفِ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّامِتِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) وَ هُوَ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَتَى قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) مَاشِياً كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ أَلْفَ حَسَنَةٍ وَ مَحَا عَنْهُ أَلْفَ سَيِّئَةٍ وَ رَفَعَ لَهُ أَلْفَ دَرَجَةٍ فَإِذَا أَتَيْتَ الْفُرَاتَ فَاغْتَسِلْ وَ عَلِّقْ نَعْلَيْكَ وَ امْشِ حَافِياً وَ امْشِ مَشْيَ الْعَبْدِ الذَّلِيلِ فَإِذَا أَتَيْتَ بَابَ الْحَائِرِ فَكَبِّرْ أَرْبَعاً ثُمَّ امْشِ قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ كَبِّرْ أَرْبَعاً ثُمَّ ائْتِ رَأْسَهُ فَقِفْ عَلَيْهِ فَكَبِّرْ أَرْبَعاً [فَكَبِّرْ وَ صَلِّ عِنْدَهُ وَ اسْأَلْ] وَ صَلِّ أَرْبَعاً وَ اسْأَلِ اللَّهَ حَاجَتَكَ

4. ‘Ali ibn Ĥusain ibn Mūsā ibn Bābawayh and a group (of my scholars) narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Ĥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Mughǐrah, from ‘Abbās ibn ‘Āmir, from Jābir Al-Makfūf, from Abil Šāmit, who said: I heard Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) say: Allāh will register one thousand good deeds and erase one thousand bad deeds for every step taken by those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.) on foot. He will also increase their status one thousand times (for every step taken). Imam (a.s.) added: When you arrive at the Euphrates (River), perform Ghusl, carry your shoes, and walk barefoot like a humble slave. Once you arrive at the door of the Ĥā`ir, recite (the phrase of) TAKBǏR four times. Then walk a little and repeat this four more times. Then approach the location close to his head, stand there and repeat it four more times. Establish prayers next to his grave and ask Allāh for your needs.

5 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّزَّازُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ مَا أَدْنَى مَا لِزَائِرِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَقَالَ لِي يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَدْنَى مَا يَكُونُ لَهُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحْفَظُهُ فِي نَفْسِهِ وَ أَهْلِهِ حَتَّى يَرُدَّهُ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ كَانَ اللَّهُ الْحَافِظَ لَهُ

5. Muĥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Razzāz narrated to me from Muĥammad ibn Ĥusain, from Muĥammad ibn Ismā’ǐl ibn Bazǐ’, from Šāliĥ ibn ‘Uqbah, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Hilāl, who said: I asked Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)), “May I sacrifice myself for you! What is the minimum reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.)?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “O ‘Abdallāh! Verily the minimum (reward) for them is that (in this life), Allāh will protect them and their families until they return to their families, and on the Day of Judgment, Allāh will be their protector.”

6 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبَانٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أُورَمَةَ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الصَّائِغِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ يَا عَلِيُّ زُرِ الْحُسَيْنَ وَ لَا تَدَعْهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ مَا لِمَنْ أَتَاهُ مِنَ الثَّوَابِ قَالَ مَنْ أَتَاهُ مَاشِياً كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ حَسَنَةً وَ مَحَى عَنْهُ سَيِّئَةً وَ رَفَعَ لَهُ دَرَجَةً فَإِذَا أَتَاهُ وَكَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهِ مَلَكَيْنِ يَكْتُبَانِ مَا خَرَجَ مِنْ فِيهِ مِنْ خَيْرٍ وَ لَا يَكْتُبَانِ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْ فِيهِ مِنْ شَرٍّ وَ لَا غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ فَإِذَا انْصَرَفَ وَدَّعُوهُ وَ قَالُوا يَا وَلِيَّ اللَّهِ مَغْفُوراً لَكَ أَنْتَ مِنْ حِزْبِ اللَّهِ وَ حِزْبِ رَسُولِهِ وَ حِزْبِ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ رَسُولِهِ وَ اللَّهِ لَا تَرَى النَّارَ بِعَيْنِكَ أَبَداً وَ لَا تَرَاكَ وَ لَا تَطْعَمُكَ أَبَداً

6. My father narrated to me from Ĥusain ibn Ĥasan ibn Abān, from Muĥammad ibn Ūramah, from someone who narrated to him, from ‘Ali ibn Maymūn Al-Šāyigh, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said (to me), “O ‘Ali! Go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) and do not neglect it.” I asked, “What is the reward for one who goes to his Ziyārah?” Imam (a.s.) replied: Allāh will register one good deed and erase one bad deed for every step taken by those who go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) on foot. He will also add one rank to their ranks (for every step taken). Once he arrives at the grave (of Ĥusain (a.s.)), Allāh will dedicate two angels to him who will only write the good that comes out of his mouth and will not write anything bad that he might say or do. When he leaves, they will bid farewell to him and say, “O friend of Allāh! You are forgiven. You are from the party of Allāh, the party of His Messenger (s.a.a.w.), and the party of the family of His Messenger (s.a.a.w.). We swear to Allāh that you will never see Hell and it will never see you nor burn you.”

7 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ النَّخَعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ عَنْ سَدِيرٍ الصَّيْرَفِيِّ قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) فَذَكَرَ فَتًى قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (ع) مَا أَتَاهُ عَبْدٌ فَخَطَا خُطْوَةً إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ حَسَنَةً وَ حَطَّ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَةً

7. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, and from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ĥimyari, from Aĥmad ibn Muĥammad ibn Khālid Al-Barqi, from his father, from ‘Abdil ‘Ażǐm ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Ĥasan, from Ĥusain ibn Ĥakam Al-Nakh’i, from Abǐ Ĥammād Al-A’rābi, from Sadǐr Al-Šayrafi, who said: We were with Abǐ Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) when a young man mentioned the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.). Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said to him, “Allāh will register one good deed and erase one bad deed for every step taken by those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.).”

8 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ الْبَصْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَصَمِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ مَنْ زَارَ الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) مِنْ شِيعَتِنَا لَمْ يَرْجِعْ حَتَّى يُغْفَرَ لَهُ كُلُّ ذَنْبٍ- وَ يُكْتَبَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ خَطَاهَا وَ كُلِّ يَدٍ رَفَعَتْهَا دَابَّتُهُ أَلْفُ حَسَنَةٍ وَ مُحِيَ عَنْهُ أَلْفُ سَيِّئَةٍ- وَ تُرْفَعُ لَهُ أَلْفُ دَرَجَةٍ

8. Muĥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ĥimyari narrated to me from his father, from ‘Ali ibn Muĥammad ibn Sālim, from Muĥammad ibn Khālid, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ĥammād Al-Bašri, from ‘Abdillāh ibn ‘Abdil Raĥmān Al-Ašam, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Muskān, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) said: Those of our Shia who go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) will not return without all of their sins having been forgiven. Allāh will register one thousand good deeds and erase one thousand bad deeds for every step they take or their sumpters take. He will also elevate their status one thousand times (for every step taken).

9 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ الرَّزَّازُ عَنْ خَالِهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ السَّرَّاجِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْقَاضِي قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) فِي غُرَيْفَةٍ لَهُ وَ عِنْدَهُ مُرَازِمٌ فَسَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) يَقُولُ مَنْ أَتَى قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) مَاشِياً كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ وَ بِكُلِّ قَدَمٍ يَرْفَعُهَا وَ يَضَعُهَا عِتْقَ رَقَبَةٍ مِنْ وُلْدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَ مَنْ أَتَاهُ بِسَفِينَةٍ فَكَفَتْ بِهِمْ سَفِينَتُهُمْ نَادَى مُنَادٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ طِبْتُمْ وَ طَابَتْ لَكُمُ الْجَنَّةُ

9. Muĥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Qurashi Al-Razzāz narrated to me from his uncle Muĥammad ibn Ĥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from Aĥmad ibn Bashǐr Al-Sarrāj, from Abǐ Sa’ǐd Al-Qāďi, who said: I entered the chamber of Abǐ ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) and found Murāzim (ibn Ĥukaym) with him. I heard Abā ‘Abdillāh (a.s.) say: Allāh will register the reward of freeing a slave from the children of Ismā’ǐl for those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ĥusain (a.s.) on foot with every step they take and each time they raise their foot and place it on the ground. And as for those who go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) by ship – if their ship drowns, a caller from the heavens will call out to them, “Be delighted and enjoy the pleasures of Paradise.”

10 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) وَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَمْدَانَ الْقَلَانِسِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مِيثَمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ النَّجَّارِ قَالَ قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) تَزُورُونَ الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) وَ تَرْكَبُونَ السُّفُنَ فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَ مَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّهَا إِذَا انْكَفَتْ بِكُمْ نُودِيتُمْ أَلَا طِبْتُمْ وَ طَابَتْ لَكُمُ الْجَنَّةُ

10. My father and ‘Ali ibn Ĥusain narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Muĥammad ibn Aĥmad ibn Ĥamdān Al-Qalānisi, from Muĥammad ibn Ĥusain Al-Muĥāribi, from Aĥmad ibn Maytham, from Muĥammad ibn ‘Āšim, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Al-Najjār, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) asked me, “Do you go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) by ship?” I replied, “Yes.” Imam (a.s.) said, “Do you not know that if it drowns, a caller will call out to you, ‘Be delighted and enjoy the pleasures of Paradise.”
