Hadith #1

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَمِّی عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْقُرَشِیِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَسَدِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی خَدِیجَهَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: الْکَذِبُ عَلَی اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ عَلَی رَسُولِهِ وَ عَلَی الْأَوْصِیَاءِ ع مِنَ الْکَبَائِرِ. وَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَنْ قَالَ عَلَیَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ فَلْیَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ.

1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ali Majluwayh who said it was narrated to me by my uncle from Muhammad b. Ali al-Qurashi from Abdulrahman b. Muhammad al-Asadi from Abi Khadija’ from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “One who relates a thing to me which I haven’t said is certain to go to Hell.”
