Punishment of looking at women

Ḥadīth 1

وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عُقْبَهَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ یَقُولُ النَّظَرُ سَهْمٌ مِنْ سِهَامِ إِبْلِیسَ مَسْمُومٌ وَ کَمْ مِنْ نَظْرَهٍ أَوْرَثَتْ حَسْرَهً طَوِیلَهً.

1. It is narrated that Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “Looking at non-Mahram women is one of the poisonous arrows of Shaitaan. Many a times, it is a cause of development of evil desires.”
