 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی بْنِ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ السَّعْدَآبَادِیُّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِیِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِی عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ أَفْضَلِ الْأَعْمَالِ یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَهِ قَالَ الصَّلَاهُ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ مِائَهَ مَرَّهٍ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ وَ مَا زَادَتْ فَهُوَ أَفْضَلُ.

1.  The narrator asked Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.), “Which is the best deed on Friday?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “Reciting Durood on Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) and his progeny a hundred times after Salaat-e-Asr on Friday. It is better to recite more than that.”

 قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَ فِی رِوَایَهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَیَابَهَ وَ ابْنِ إِسْمَاعِیلَ عَنْ نَاجِیَهَ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا ع قَالَ: إِذَا صَلَّیْتَ یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَهِ فَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَوْصِیَاءِ الْمَرْضِیِّینَ بِأَفْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِکَ وَ بَارِکْ عَلَیْهِمْ بِأَفْضَلِ بَرَکَاتِکَ وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَیْهِ وَ عَلَیْهِمْ وَ عَلَی أَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَ أَجْسَادِهِمْ وَ رَحْمَهُ اللَّهِ وَ بَرَکَاتُهُ کَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَکَ مِائَهَ أَلْفِ حَسَنَهٍ وَ مَحَا عَنْکَ مِائَهَ أَلْفِ سَیِّئَهٍ وَ قَضَی لَکَ بِهَا مِائَهَ أَلْفِ حَاجَهٍ وَ رَفَعَ لَکَ بِهَا مِائَهَ أَلْفِ دَرَجَهٍ.

2. Who said Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah and in the narration of Abdillah b. Sayabeh and Ibn Ismail from Najayh from one of the Imams (a.s.) who said: It is narrated from Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) or Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) that one should recite the following supplication after Friday Prayer: Allaahumma s’alli a’laa muh’ammadinw wa aali muh’ammadin al-aus’iyaa-il marz”eena bi-afz”ali s’alawaatika wa baarik a’laihim bi- afz”ali barakaatika was salaamu a’laihi wa a’laihim wa a’laa arwaah’ihim wa ajsaadihim wa rah’matullaahi wa barakaatuh. The Almighty Allah writes a hundred thousand rewards for the reciter and wipes a hundred thousand sins and fulfils a hundred thousand wishes and increases the position by a hundred thousand levels.”

 وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِیِّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ مُصَدِّقِ بْنِ صَدَقَهَ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ مُوسَی السَّابَاطِیِّ قَالَ: کُنْتُ عِنْدَ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَیْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَا هَذَا لَقَدْ ضَیَّقْتَ عَلَیْنَا أَ مَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْبَیْتِ خَمْسَهٌ أَصْحَابُ الْکِسَاءِ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ کَیْفَ أَقُولُ قَالَ قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فَنَکُونَ نَحْنُ وَ شِیعَتُنَا قَدْ دَخَلْنَا فِیهِ.

3. And from the previous chain from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah al-Barqi from his father from ’Amru b. Sa’eed from Musdaq b. Sadaqah from Ammar b. Musa al-Sabati who said: “I was in the presence of Abi Abdillah (a.s.), thus a person said, "O Allah, send your blessings upon Muhammad and the household (i.e. Ahl al-Bayt) of Muhammad." So Abu Abdullah (a.s.) said to him: "O man, you have excluded us. Don’t you know that the household are five [which are] the people of the cloak?” He asked, “How should I say?” He (a.s.) replied, “Say: O Allah, send your blessings upon Muhammad and the family (i.e. Al) of Muhammad, and so, we and our Shias are included in it.”
