مَا حَدَّثَنِی بِهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَیْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبَانٍ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أُذَیْنَهَ عَنْ زُرَارَهَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: مَنْ لَمْ یُصَلِّ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ فِی جَمَاعَهٍ یَوْمَ الْعِیدِ فَلَا صَلَاهَ لَهُ وَ لَا قَضَاءَ عَلَیْهِ.
1. Imam Muhammad Baqir says, “For one who does not offer Salaat-e-Eid in congregation there is no Salaat or its Qaza obligatory for him.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ سَمَاعَهَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: لَا صَلَاهَ فِی الْعِیدَیْنِ إِلَّا مَعَ إِمَامٍ فَإِنْ صَلَّیْتَ وَحْدَکَ فَلَا بَأْسَ.
2. And from the previous chain from al-Hussain b. Sa’eed from Uthman b. Isa from Sama’a b. Mihran from Abi Abdillah who said: “Salaat of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid- e-Qurbaan can be offered only in congregation. However if one wishes to offer it alone there is no harm in it.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَهَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ یَحْیَی وَ زُرَارَهَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع لَا صَلَاهَ یَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَ الْأَضْحَی إِلَّا مَعَ إِمَامٍ.
3. Imam Muhammad Baqir says, “Salaat of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-e-Qurbaan can be offered only in congregation.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الْحَلَبِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ صَلَاهِ الْعِیدَیْنِ هَلْ قَبْلَهُمَا صَلَاهٌ أَوْ بَعْدَهُمَا قَالَ لَیْسَ قَبْلَهُمَا وَ لَا بَعْدَهُمَا شَیْ ءٌ.
4. And from the previous chain from al-Hussain b. Sa’eed from Muhammad b. Sinan from Abdillah b. Sinan al-Halabi from Abi Abdillah who said: The narrator asked Imam Ja’far Sadiq
, “Is there any Salaat before or after the Salaat of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-e- Qurban?” Imam
replied, “No, neither before nor after.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ حَرِیزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنِ الصَّلَاهِ فِی الْفِطْرِ وَ الْأَضْحَی قَالَ لَیْسَ فِیهِمَا أَذَانٌ وَ لَا إِقَامَهٌ وَ لَیْسَ بَعْدَ الرَّکْعَتَیْنِ وَ لَا قَبْلَهُمَا صَلَاهٌ.
5. And from the previous chain from al-Hussain b. Sa’eed from Hamad b. Isa from Hareez from Muhammad b. Muslim who said: The narrator asked Imam Ja’far Sadiq regarding Salaat of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-e-Qurban. Imam
replied, “There is no Azaan or Iqamah for them and there is no Salaat before and after these two rakats.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَهَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: صَلَاهُ الْعِیدَیْنِ رَکْعَتَانِ لَیْسَ قَبْلَهُمَا وَ لَا بَعْدَهُمَا شَیْ ءٌ.
6. And from the previous chain from al-Hussain b. Sa’eed from Fadhalah from Ibn Sinan from Abi Abdillah who said: “Salaat of Eid-ul-fitr and Eid- e-Qurban consists of two rakats and there is no Salaat before and after it.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَهَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: صَلَاهُ الْعِیدَیْنِ رَکْعَتَانِ لَیْسَ قَبْلَهُمَا وَ لَا بَعْدَهُمَا شَیْ ءٌ. وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَهَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أُذَیْنَهَ عَنْ زُرَارَهَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع لَیْسَ یَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَ لَا یَوْمَ الْأَضْحَی أَذَانٌ وَ لَا إِقَامَهٌ أَذَانُهُمَا طُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ إِذَا طَلَعَتْ خَرَجُوا وَ لَیْسَ قَبْلَهُمَا وَ لَا بَعْدَهُمَا صَلَاهٌ وَ مَنْ لَمْ یُصَلِّ مَعَ إِمَامٍ فِی جَمَاعَهٍ فَلَا صَلَاهَ لَهُ وَ لَا قَضَاءَ عَلَیْهِ.
7. And from the previous chain from al-Hussain b. Sa’eed from Fadhalah from Ibn Sinan from Abi Abdillah who said: “There is no Azaan or Iqamah for Salaat of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-e-Qurban. Sunrise is their Azaan. As soon as sun rises, people should come out of their houses for Salaat. There is no Salaat before these two prayers. For one who does not pray these prayers in congregation no prayer is obligatory on him nor he has to offer their Qaza.”
