1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) لَوْ لا أَنَّ الْمَكْرَ وَالْخَدِيعَةَ فِي النَّارِ لَكُنْتُ أَمْكَرَ النَّاسِ.
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim in a marfu’ manner who has said the following: “Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.) has said, ‘Had evil planning and deceit not been in the fire, I would have been extremely skillful in evil planning.’”
2ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) يَجِيءُ كُلُّ غَادِرٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِإِمَامٍ مَائِلٍ شِدْقُهُ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ النَّارَ وَيَجِيءُ كُلُّ نَاكِثٍ بَيْعَةَ إِمَامٍ أَجْذَمَ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ النَّارَ.
2. Ali has narrated from his father from al-Nawfali from al-Sakuni from abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘On the Day of Judgment all the treacherous people will come with a leader, his mouth badly deformed, and end up in the fire. All those breaking out allegiance of the Imam also will come with their hand cut off and end up in the fire.’”
3ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ مَاكَرَ مُسْلِماً.
3. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from his father from al- Nawfali from al-Sakuni from abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘One who makes evil plans against a Muslim is not from us.’”
4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ قَرْيَتَيْنِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْحَرْبِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا مَلِكٌ عَلَى حِدَةٍ اقْتَتَلُوا ثُمَّ اصْطَلَحُوا ثُمَّ إِنَّ أَحَدَ الْمَلِكَيْنِ غَدَرَ بِصَاحِبِهِ فَجَاءَ إِلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَصَالَحَهُمْ عَلَى أَنْ يَغْزُوَ مَعَهُمْ تِلْكَ الْمَدِينَةَ فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) لا يَنْبَغِي لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ أَنْ يَغْدِرُوا وَلا يَأْمُرُوا بِالْغَدْرِ وَلا يُقَاتِلُوا مَعَ الَّذِينَ غَدَرُوا وَلَكِنَّهُمْ يُقَاتِلُونَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدُوهُمْ وَلا يَجُوزُ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا عَاهَدَ عَلَيْهِ الْكُفَّارُ.
4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Muhammad ibn Yahya from Talhah ibn Zayd who has said the following: “Once I asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) ‘There are two towns of the people in the state of war against the Muslims. Each town has a king. They had a war and then made peace. Thereafter one king acted treacherously against the other king, came to the Muslims and made peace to help him against the other town.’ Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) said, ‘It is not worthy of the Muslims to act treacherously or command people to act treacherously or fight along side the treacherous people. However, they fight the pagans wherever they find them. The covenant of the unbelievers is not effective.’”
5ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَمُّونٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الأشْعَثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ حَمَّادٍ الأنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) يَجِيءُ كُلُّ غَادِرٍ بِإِمَامٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَائِلاً شِدْقُهُ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ النَّارَ.
5. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan ibn Shammun from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Amr ibn al- Ash’ath from ‘Abd Allah ibn Hammad al-Ansari from Yahya ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Hassan from abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘On the Day of Judgment all the treacherous people will come with an Imam whose mouth will be badly deformed and end up in the fire.’”
6ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْعَبْدِيِّ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ عَنِ الأصْبَغِ بْنِ نُبَاتَةَ قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ بِالْكُوفَةِ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ لَوْ لا كَرَاهِيَةُ الْغَدْرِ كُنْتُ مِنْ أَدْهَى النَّاسِ أَلا إِنَّ لِكُلِّ غُدَرَةٍ فُجَرَةً وَلِكُلِّ فُجَرَةٍ كُفَرَةً أَلا وَإِنَّ الْغَدْرَ وَالْفُجُورَ وَالْخِيَانَةَ فِي النَّارِ.
6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ali ibn Asbat from his uncle Ya’qub ibn Salim from abu al-Hassan al-‘Abdi from Sa’d ibn Tarif from al- Asbagh ibn Nubatah who has said the following: “Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.) one day in his speech from the pulpit in al- Kufah said, ‘O people, were it not for my intense dislike of treachery I could have been the most clever among people. You must know that in every act of treachery there is a sin of disbelief. You must also know that treachery, sins and dishonesty are all in the fire (of hell).’”
