وَوَالِدٍ وَمَا وَلَدَ
[and] by the father and him whom he begot:

Commentary on Quran 90:3
[Pooya/Ali Commentary 90:3] Aqa Mahdi Puya says: The begetter refers to Adam as the divinely chosen vicegerent of Allah and "that which he begot" refers to the divinely chosen representatives of Allah sent to guide mankind.
