ٱلتَّوْبَة
9:92
وَلَا
عَلَى
الَّذِينَ
إِذَا
مَا
أَتَوْكَ
لِتَحْمِلَهُمْ
قُلْتَ
لَا
أَجِدُ
مَا
أَحْمِلُكُمْ
عَلَيْهِ
تَوَلَّوا
وَّأَعْيُنُهُمْ
تَفِيضُ
مِنَ
الدَّمْعِ
حَزَنًا
أَلَّا
يَجِدُوا
مَا
يُنفِقُونَ
wa-lā ʿalā lladhīna ʾidhā mā ʾatawka li-taḥmilahum qulta lā ʾajidu mā ʾaḥmilukum ʿalayhi tawallaw wa-ʾaʿyunuhum tafīḍu mina d-damʿi ḥazanan ʾallā yajidū mā yunfiqūna
Those who come to you, (Muhammad), asking to be taken to the battle, but you cannot find the necessary means for them, are exempt from the duty of fighting for the cause of God, even though they leave you with their eyes flooded with tears because of not being able to help the cause of God.
