al-Tawbah (Repentance)
ٱلتَّوْبَة
9:67
الْمُنَافِقُونَ
وَالْمُنَافِقَاتُ
بَعْضُهُم
مِّن
بَعْضٍ
يَأْمُرُونَ
بِالْمُنكَرِ
وَيَنْهَوْنَ
عَنِ
الْمَعْرُوفِ
وَيَقْبِضُونَ
أَيْدِيَهُمْ
نَسُوا
اللَّهَ
فَنَسِيَهُمْ
إِنَّ
الْمُنَافِقِينَ
هُمُ
الْفَاسِقُونَ
al-munāfiqūna wa-l-munāfiqātu baʿḍuhum min baʿḍin yaʾmurūna bi-l-munkari wa-yanhawna ʿani l-maʿrūfi wa-yaqbiḍūna ʾaydiyahum nasū llāha fa-nasiyahum ʾinna l-munāfiqīna humu l-fāsiqūna
Be they male or female hypocrites, they are the same. They make others commit sins, prevent them from doing good deeds, and restrain their hands (from spending for the cause of God). They have forgotten all about God who also has ignored them. The hypocrites indeed are evil-doers.
