al-Tawbah (Repentance)
ٱلتَّوْبَة
9:53
قُلْ
أَنفِقُوا
طَوْعًا
أَوْ
كَرْهًا
لَّن
يُتَقَبَّلَ
مِنكُمْ
إِنَّكُمْ
كُنتُمْ
قَوْمًا
فَاسِقِينَ
qul ʾanfiqū ṭawʿan ʾaw karhan lan yutaqabbala minkum ʾinnakum kuntum qawman fāsiqīna
Say, "Whether you spend your wealth for the cause of God, willingly or reluctantly, it will never be accepted from you; you are an evil doing people."
