التوبة
al-Tawbah (Repentance)
ٱلتَّوْبَة
9:13
أَلَا
تُقَاتِلُونَ
قَوْمًا
نَّكَثُوا
أَيْمَانَهُمْ
وَهَمُّوا
بِإِخْرَاجِ
الرَّسُولِ
وَهُم
بَدَءُوكُمْ
أَوَّلَ
مَرَّةٍ
أَتَخْشَوْنَهُمْ
فَاللَّهُ
أَحَقُّ
أَن
تَخْشَوْهُ
إِن
كُنتُم
مُّؤْمِنِينَ
ʾa-lā tuqātilūna qawman nakathū ʾaymānahum wa-hammū bi-ʾikhrāji r-rasūli wa-hum badaʾūkum ʾawwala marratin ʾa-takhshawnahum fa-llāhu ʾaḥaqqu ʾan takhshawhu ʾin kuntum muʾminīna
Why will you not fight against a people who have broken their peace treaty with you, have decided to expel the Messenger (from his home town), and who were the first to disregard the peace treaty? If you are true believers, you should only have fear of God.
