فَعَصَى فِرْعَوْنُ الرَّسُولَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُ أَخْذًا وَبِيلًا
But Pharaoh disobeyed the apostle; so We seized him with a terrible seizing.

Commentary on Quran 73:16
[Pooya/Ali Commentary 73:16] Allah's laws prevail in all circumstances. All else disappear. Firawn disobeyed Allah's laws and defied His authority. He was destroyed for ever.
