ٱلْأَعْرَاف

7:78

فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ

الرَّجْفَةُ

فَأَصْبَحُوا

فِي

دَارِهِمْ

جَاثِمِينَ

fa-ʾakhadhathumu r-rajfatu fa-ʾaṣbaḥū fī dārihim jāthimīna

Suddenly, an earthquake jolted them and they were left motionless in their homes.

So seized them

فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ

the earthquake

الرَّجْفَةُ

then they became

فَأَصْبَحُوا

in

their homes

fallen prone

جَاثِمِينَ
