al-A‘rāf (The Elevations)
ٱلْأَعْرَاف
7:137
وَأَوْرَثْنَا
الْقَوْمَ
الَّذِينَ
كَانُوا
يُسْتَضْعَفُونَ
مَشَارِقَ
الْأَرْضِ
وَمَغَارِبَهَا
الَّتِي
بَارَكْنَا
فِيهَا
وَتَمَّتْ
كَلِمَتُ
رَبِّكَ
الْحُسْنَى
عَلَى
بَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ
بِمَا
صَبَرُوا
وَدَمَّرْنَا
مَا
كَانَ
يَصْنَعُ
فِرْعَوْنُ
وَقَوْمُهُ
وَمَا
كَانُوا
يَعْرِشُونَ
wa-ʾawrathnā l-qawma lladhīna kānū yustaḍʿafūna mashāriqa l-ʾarḍi wa-maghāribahā llatī bāraknā fīhā wa-tammat kalimatu rabbika l-ḥusnā ʿalā banī ʾisrāʾīla bi-mā ṣabarū wa-dammarnā mā kāna yaṣnaʿu firʿawnu wa-qawmuhū wa-mā kānū yaʿrishūna
We gave the suppressed people the blessed eastern and western regions as their inheritance. Thus, the promises of your Lord to the children of Israel all came true because of the patience which they exercised. He destroyed all the establishments of the Pharaoh and his people.
