فَلَوْلَا

إِذَا

بَلَغَتِ

الْحُلْقُومَ

fa-law-lā ʾidhā balaghati l-ḥulqūma

So when it reaches the throat [of the dying person],

Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,-
