al-Wāqi‘ah (The Imminent)
ٱلْوَاقِعَة
56:47
وَكَانُوا
يَقُولُونَ
أَئِذَا
مِتْنَا
وَكُنَّا
تُرَابًا
وَعِظَامًا
أَإِنَّا
لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
wa-kānū yaqūlūna ʾa-ʾidhā mitnā wa-kunnā turāban wa-ʿiẓāman ʾa-ʾinnā la-mabʿūthūna
It was they who said, "Shall we be resurrected after we die and have turned into dust and bones?
