وَأَنَّهُ

خَلَقَ

الزَّوْجَيْنِ

الذَّكَرَ

وَالْأُنثَى

wa-ʾannahū khalaqa z-zawjayni dh-dhakara wa-l-ʾunthā

that it is He who created the mates, the male and the female,

— Ali Quli Qarai

That He did create in pairs,- male and female,
