How many an angel there is in the heavens whose intercession is of not any avail, except after Allah permits whomever He wishes and approves of!
Agha Ali Puya Commentary
Commentary on Quran 53:26
[Pooya/Ali Commentary 53:26] There will be no intercession available to the disbelievers, but Allah has given permission to the Holy Prophet and his Ahl ul Bayt to intercede and advocate on behalf of the believers. Refer to the commentary of Baqarah: 48. There are several verses in the Quran in which it is clearly stated that Allah gives permission of intercession to whom He pleases. So the theory of "no intercession at all" is unquranic and contrary to the will of Allah.
