يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا قُل لَّا تَمُنُّوا عَلَيَّ إِسْلَامَكُم بَلِ اللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَاكُمْ لِلْإِيمَانِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
They count it as a favour to you that they have embraced Islam. Say, ‘Do not count your embracing of Islam as a favour to me. No, it is Allah who has done you a favour in that He has guided you to faith, if you are truthful [in your claim].

[Pooya/Ali Commentary 49:17] Refer to Baqarah: 129, 151 and Ali Imran: 164. By accepting Islam man confers no favour on its preacher. If the acceptance is from the heart, it is a favour done to his own self because the light of guidance has entered his heart.
