وَلَقَدِ

اخْتَرْنَاهُمْ

عَلَى

عِلْمٍ

عَلَى

الْعَالَمِينَ

wa-la-qadi khtarnāhum ʿalā ʿilmin ʿalā l-ʿālamīna

Certainly We chose them knowingly above all the nations,

— Ali Quli Qarai

And We chose them aforetime above the nations, knowingly,
