al-Shūrā (Consultation)
ٱلشُّورىٰ
42:20
مَن
كَانَ
يُرِيدُ
حَرْثَ
الْآخِرَةِ
نَزِدْ
لَهُ
فِي
حَرْثِهِ
وَمَن
كَانَ
يُرِيدُ
حَرْثَ
الدُّنْيَا
نُؤْتِهِ
مِنْهَا
وَمَا
لَهُ
فِي
الْآخِرَةِ
مِن
نَّصِيبٍ
man kāna yurīdu ḥartha l-ʾākhirati nazid lahū fī ḥarthihī wa-man kāna yurīdu ḥartha d-dunyā nuʾtihī minhā wa-mā lahū fī l-ʾākhirati min naṣībin
We shall increase the harvest of those who seek a good harvest in the life hereafter. However, those who want to have their harvest in this life will be given it but will have no share in the hereafter.
