الزمر

al-Zumar (The Throngs)

ٱلزُّمَر

39:71

وَسِيقَ

الَّذِينَ

كَفَرُوا

إِلَى

جَهَنَّمَ

زُمَرًا

حَتَّى

إِذَا

جَاءُوهَا

فُتِحَتْ

أَبْوَابُهَا

وَقَالَ

لَهُمْ

خَزَنَتُهَا

أَلَمْ

يَأْتِكُمْ

رُسُلٌ

مِّنكُمْ

يَتْلُونَ

عَلَيْكُمْ

آيَاتِ

رَبِّكُمْ

وَيُنذِرُونَكُمْ

لِقَاءَ

يَوْمِكُمْ

هَذَا

قَالُوا

بَلَى

وَلَكِنْ

حَقَّتْ

كَلِمَةُ

الْعَذَابِ

عَلَى

الْكَافِرِينَ

wa-sīqa lladhīna kafarū ʾilā jahannama zumaran ḥattā ʾidhā jāʾūhā futiḥat ʾabwābuhā wa-qāla lahum khazanatuhā ʾa-lam yaʾtikum rusulun minkum yatlūna ʿalaykum ʾāyāti rabbikum wa-yundhirūnakum liqāʾa yawmikum hādhā qālū balā wa-lākin ḥaqqat kalimatu l-ʿadhābi ʿalā l-kāfirīna

The disbelievers will be driven to hell in hordes. Its gates will be opened when they are brought nearby and the keepers will ask them, "Did Messengers from your own people not come to you to recite your Lord's revelations and to warn you about this day?" They will reply, "Yes, the Messengers did come to us, but the unbelievers were doomed to face the torment".
