الزمر
al-Zumar (The Throngs)
ٱلزُّمَر
39:4
لَّوْ
أَرَادَ
اللَّهُ
أَن
يَتَّخِذَ
وَلَدًا
لَّاصْطَفَى
مِمَّا
يَخْلُقُ
مَا
يَشَاءُ
سُبْحَانَهُ
هُوَ
اللَّهُ
الْوَاحِدُ
الْقَهَّارُ
law ʾarāda llāhu ʾan yattakhidha waladan la-ṣṭafā mimmā yakhluqu mā yashāʾu subḥānahū huwa llāhu l-wāḥidu l-qahhāru
Had God wanted to have a son, He would have chosen one from His creatures according to His will. God is too Exalted to have a son. He is One and Almighty.
