وَجَعَلُوا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًا وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ الْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
And they have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn, while the jinn certainly know that they will be presented [before Him].

[Pooya/Ali Commentary 37:158] Some pagans believed that the angels were the children of Allah through women among jinn. The fire-worshippers thought that Allah and Shaytan were brothers (Yazdan or Ormuzd, the symbol of good; and Ahriman, the symbol of evil).
