[Pooya/Ali Commentary 36:26] The liberated soul of this godly man when asked by the angels to enter paradise, remembers the time when he was preaching to his people. Had the people known what a blissful life is granted to the believers in truth and the righteous, they also would have enjoyed the bounties of Allah and honour as he had received. Had the people known the worth of faith in Allah and righteousness in life on account of which qualities he had been made honourable in life after death, which is the ultimate end, they would also have achieved the eternal success.
