Saba’ (Sheba)

سَبَأ

34:33

وَقَالَ

الَّذِينَ

اسْتُضْعِفُوا

لِلَّذِينَ

اسْتَكْبَرُوا

بَلْ

مَكْرُ

اللَّيْلِ

وَالنَّهَارِ

إِذْ

تَأْمُرُونَنَا

أَن

نَّكْفُرَ

بِاللَّهِ

وَنَجْعَلَ

لَهُ

أَندَادًا

وَأَسَرُّوا

النَّدَامَةَ

لَمَّا

رَأَوُا

الْعَذَابَ

وَجَعَلْنَا

الْأَغْلَالَ

فِي

أَعْنَاقِ

الَّذِينَ

كَفَرُوا

هَلْ

يُجْزَوْنَ

إِلَّا

مَا

كَانُوا

يَعْمَلُونَ

wa-qāla lladhīna stuḍʿifū li-lladhīna stakbarū bal makru l-layli wa-n-nahāri ʾidh taʾmurūnanā ʾan nakfura bi-llāhi wa-najʿala lahū ʾandādan wa-ʾasarrū n-nadāmata lammā raʾawu l-ʿadhāba wa-jaʿalnā l-ʾaghlāla ʾaʿnāqi lladhīna kafarū hal yujzawna ʾillā kānū yaʿmalūna

The oppressed ones will say to them, "It was you who planned night and day, ordering us to disbelieve God, and consider other things equal to Him." They will hide their regret on seeing their torment. We shall chain the necks of the disbelievers. Can they be recompensed with other than what they deserved for their deeds?
