وَلَوْ

أَنَّمَا

فِي

الْأَرْضِ

مِن

شَجَرَةٍ

أَقْلَامٌ

وَالْبَحْرُ

يَمُدُّهُ

مِن

بَعْدِهِ

سَبْعَةُ

أَبْحُرٍ

مَّا

نَفِدَتْ

كَلِمَاتُ

اللَّهِ

إِنَّ

اللَّهَ

عَزِيزٌ

حَكِيمٌ

wa-law ʾannamā l-ʾarḍi min shajaratin ʾaqlāmun wa-l-baḥru yamudduhū min baʿdihī sabʿatu ʾabḥurin nafidat kalimātu llāhi ʾinna llāha ʿazīzun ḥakīmun

And if all the trees on earth were pens and the ocean (were ink), with seven oceans behind it to add to its (supply), yet would not the words of Allah be exhausted (in the writing): for Allah is Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom.

If all the trees on the earth were pens, and the sea replenished with seven more seas [were ink], the words of Allah would not be spent. Indeed Allah is all-mighty, all-wise.
