فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مَعۡذِرَتُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ

On that day, the excuses of the wrongdoers will not benefit them, nor will they be asked to propitiate [Allah].
