After describing the general characteristics of infidels in their disbelief of Dooms Day and who were ridiculing it as stories of old, of which they and their forefathers were threatened, they demanded actual date of it, which is only known to God Who has held it in secrecy. Ali will appear on Mount Safa’ with Moses’ rod, and Solomon’s ring to distinguish infidels from faithful. This will be when the sun will rise from the west and the door of penance shall be closed.
