al-Shu‘arā’ (The Poets)

ٱلشُّعَرَاء

26:13

وَيَضِيقُ

صَدْرِي

وَلَا

يَنطَلِقُ

لِسَانِي

فَأَرْسِلْ

إِلَى

هَارُونَ

wa-yaḍīqu ṣadrī wa-lā yanṭaliqu lisānī fa-ʾarsil ʾilā hārūna

I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me.

And straitens

وَيَضِيقُ

my breast

صَدْرِي

and not

وَلَا

expresses well

يَنطَلِقُ

my tongue

لِسَانِي

so send

فَأَرْسِلْ

for

إِلَى

Harun

هَارُونَ
