مَا

أَنزَلْنَا

عَلَيْكَ

الْقُرْآنَ

لِتَشْقَى

mā ʾanzalnā ʿalayka l-qurʾāna li-tashqā

We did not send down to you the Quran that you should be miserable,

We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress,
