al-Baqarah (The Cow)
ٱلْبَقَرَة
2:73
فَقُلْنَا
اضْرِبُوهُ
بِبَعْضِهَا
كَذَلِكَ
يُحْيِي
اللَّهُ
الْمَوْتَى
وَيُرِيكُمْ
آيَاتِهِ
لَعَلَّكُمْ
تَعْقِلُونَ
fa-qulnā ḍribūhu bi-baʿḍihā ka-dhālika yuḥyi llāhu l-mawtā wa-yurīkum ʾāyātihī laʿallakum taʿqilūna
We said, "Strike the person slain with some part of the cow." That is how God brings the dead to life and shows you His miracles so that you might have understanding.
