al-Baqarah (The Cow)
ٱلْبَقَرَة
2:139
قُلْ
أَتُحَاجُّونَنَا
فِي
اللَّهِ
وَهُوَ
رَبُّنَا
وَرَبُّكُمْ
وَلَنَا
أَعْمَالُنَا
وَلَكُمْ
أَعْمَالُكُمْ
وَنَحْنُ
لَهُ
مُخْلِصُونَ
qul ʾa-tuḥājjūnanā fī llāhi wa-huwa rabbunā wa-rabbukum wa-lanā ʾaʿmālunā wa-lakum ʾaʿmālukum wa-naḥnu lahū mukhliṣūna
(Muhammad), ask the People of the Book, "Why should you argue with us about God, Who is our Lord as well as yours, when we are sincere in our belief in God?
