al-Baqarah (The Cow)
ٱلْبَقَرَة
2:132
وَوَصَّى
بِهَا
إِبْرَاهِيمُ
بَنِيهِ
وَيَعْقُوبُ
يَابَنِيَّ
إِنَّ
اللَّهَ
اصْطَفَى
لَكُمُ
الدِّينَ
فَلَا
تَمُوتُنَّ
إِلَّا
وَأَنتُم
مُّسْلِمُونَ
wa-waṣṣā bihā ʾibrāhīmu banīhi wa-yaʿqūbu yā-baniyya ʾinna llāha ṣṭafā lakumu d-dīna fa-lā tamūtunna ʾillā wa-ʾantum muslimūna
Abraham left this legacy to his sons and, in turn, so did Jacob saying, "God has chosen this religion for you. You must not leave this world unless you are a Muslim (submitted to the will of the Lord of the Universe)."
