al-Baqarah (The Cow)
ٱلْبَقَرَة
2:130
وَمَن
يَرْغَبُ
عَن
مِّلَّةِ
إِبْرَاهِيمَ
إِلَّا
مَن
سَفِهَ
نَفْسَهُ
وَلَقَدِ
اصْطَفَيْنَاهُ
فِي
الدُّنْيَا
وَإِنَّهُ
فِي
الْآخِرَةِ
لَمِنَ
الصَّالِحِينَ
wa-man yarghabu ʿan millati ʾibrāhīma ʾillā man safiha nafsahū wa-la-qadi ṣṭafaynāhu fī d-dunyā wa-ʾinnahū fī l-ʾākhirati la-mina ṣ-ṣāliḥīna
No one turns away from Abraham's Tradition except one who makes a fool of himself. To Abraham We have granted distinction in this world and in the life hereafter he will be among the righteous ones.
