al-Isrā’ (The Night Journey)
ٱلْإِسْرَاء
17:76
وَإِن
كَادُوا
لَيَسْتَفِزُّونَكَ
مِنَ
الْأَرْضِ
لِيُخْرِجُوكَ
مِنْهَا
وَإِذًا
لَّا
يَلْبَثُونَ
خِلَافَكَ
إِلَّا
قَلِيلًا
wa-ʾin kādū la-yastafizzūnaka mina l-ʾarḍi li-yukhrijūka minhā wa-ʾidhan lā yalbathūna khilāfaka ʾillā qalīlan
They try to annoy you so that they can expel you from the land. Had they been successful, no one would have been left behind except a few.
