وَاسْتَفْتَحُوا
وَخَابَ
كُلُّ
جَبَّارٍ
عَنِيدٍ
wa-staftaḥū wa-khāba kullu jabbārin ʿanīdin
But they sought victory and decision (there and then), and frustration was the lot of every powerful obstinate transgressor.
