Al-Husayn ibn Sa'id, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from Ali, from Abu Basir, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام: Imam عليه السلام said: “Upon the boy, when he has a wet dream, is (obligation of) fasting, And upon the girl, when she menstruates, is (obligation of) fasting and the veil (khimar), unless she is an owned slave-woman (mamlukah), for there is no veil (khimar) upon her unless she likes to veil herself, and fasting is (still) upon her.”
